What makes Catnap Kitties different from other electronic cats on the market?
Catnap Kitties are soft and cuddly.  They feel and sound more like a real purring cat than any other product we have been able to find on the market.  The other electronic pets we have seen have hard shell bodies covered with fur.  Catnap Kitties are plush, cuddly toys that children (or anyone) can hold, love and sleep with. Also, unlike other electronic cats that use a motor to generate a purr like sound, Catnap Kitties have a patented device that generates the realistic, subtle purr and synchronized feel of a real purring cat.  Catnap Kitties’ purr provides a soothing alternative for anyone who cannot have a real cat.

Why are there only two colors?
Catnap Kitties, Inc. is a small independently owned toy company.  Original product testing showed that an all white and a combination black/white product were the most frequently sought colors.  As the Company grows we will be adding Catnap Kitties of everyone’s favorite breed.

What are payment terms for Catnap Kitties?
Generally payment is due when the order is placed.  On large retail orders however, payment terms may be available.  Retailers requesting larger orders should contact us directly at catnapkitties@catnapkitties.com to discuss options. 

How do you ensure that Catnap Kitties are safe for children?Specialized Technology Resources, a Connecticut firm, tests Catnap Kitties for every safety issue that they can think of including all the tests required by federal and state regulations.  They are an approved testing firm for the Toy Industry Association.  They also provide on site inspection services to ensure that Catnap Kitties meet the high expectations that our customers demand.

Where can you buy Catnap Kitties?
In the Atlanta region,the toy stores carrying Catnap Kitties are: The Children’s Museum of Atlanta, The Learning Express in Buckhead, The Learning Express in West Cobb, The Learning Express in Woodstock, and Bean Head Toys in Sandy Springs. Also, several small toy stores throughout the United States had the foresight to purchase small orders at Toy Fair in February 2008 even though, at that time, we only had a prototype available and were not yet in production.  Catnap Kitties is also available on the Company’s website at www.catnapkitties.com.
